Lakers News: Hoops Future Of LeBron James' Son Bronny In Doubt

Image
Just a few weeks ago, everybody was mulling over the exciting basketball future of Bronny James and getting ready to see him suit up for the USC Trojans this season. His father, superstar forward of the Lakers LeBron James, had been very vocal as well stating that Bronny and the rest of his teammates were going to have a big year and that he was super excited to see what would come after. It's no secret that The King's ultimate dream is to s hare at least one NBA season with his eldest son and even if it could not happen on the Lakers, James structured out his contract so he could become a free agent if needed once Bronny entered the draft. Unfortunately, Bronny's future as a basketball players remains up in the air after he suffered a cardiac arrest in the middle of a collegiate workout and the cause is still unknown. All has been well regarding his health since then and his family has remained closely by him but we do not even know if he's going to be able to suit up ...

Washington Spirit’s Trinity Rodman, the daughter of NBA great Dennis Rodman, recently posted a story with Bronny James and DJ Rodman.  DJ Rodman followed Bronny James to announce his move to USC Trojans at the beginning of last month.  Both youngsters, being sons of legitimate NBA greats in Dennis Rodman and LeBron James, are expected to eventually make it to the NBA. Trinity posted a hilarious story in which she asked Bronny and DJ to pull off a “side-eye.”  SEE ALSO:  LeBron James could become the first NBA player to play in the same team as his son  Bulls legend Rodman recently praised LeBron James, ridiculing comparisons made between him and Celtics legend Larry Bird. Rodman, who retired in 2000, obviously never got a chance to play alongside James, who entered the league in 2003.  Regardless, with his daughter Trinity uploading reels related to Bronny James, he himself will be excited with the prospect of his son DJ playing with LeBron’s son.  ...

NBA records are there to be broken, but LeBron James wants to keep it in the family as he looks to claim one place in the history books that no-one can take away.   Not content with one member of the James lineage earning their place in basketball's limelight, LeBron wants to share the stage with his son, Bronny. The 18-year-old has committed to play the upcoming college season at the University of Southern California and will therefore be eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft.  Despite concerns over his age, 38-year-old James has spoken of his 'need' to share the court with his eldest child.  SEE ALSO:  LeBron James all but confirms he will leave the Lakers on Instagram  And there's a sense of confidence the four-time NBA champion could play to 40 (and possibly beyond) after helping the Los Angeles Lakers into this year's Conference Finals.   "I need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny. . .either in the same uniform or ...

LeBron James all but confirms he will leave the Lakers on Instagram

LeBron James is completely changing what everyone thought was possible for a star athlete in the NBA.  LeBron led the Los Angeles Lakers to the Western Conference Finals in the same year that he broke the all-time scoring record while he still plays better than all but a handful of players in the league.   None of this is guaranteed at LeBron’s age and his elite level of play could end at any moment. That is why Lakers fans should cherish the legendary basketball they are seeing, even if it is no longer the prime version of LeBron.   Fans should especially cherish it during the 2023-24 season as it will certainly be his last in the purple and gold. Retirement threats aside (which all just seems like a ploy to get the Lakers to make certain moves), LeBron has all but confirmed that he will leave the Lakers after the 2023-24 season in his latest Instagram story.   LeBron James all but confirms that he will leave the Lakers to join Bronny James This is so...
