One of the people who reacted quickly to what Bronny James just suffered, is sports presenter Stephen A. Smith. Although thre are some times in which he tends to go after LeBron James over his performance on the court, this hit different on Stephen A. 


Right now, he understands that family is what matters the most and he delivered a heart warming message to the James family. Also, he reminded us that LeBron James has a dream to someday play alongside Bronny in the NBA. This new chapter in Bronny's life may affect that final outcome LeBron had been expecting for many years. Although it's still too soon to tell what happened exactly, further tests will determine whether Bronny James will be able to continue playing basketball or not. Smith said this: "I'm just thankful, thank the good Lord, that he's doing OK and whatever caused this is something they will identify and alleviate as soon as possible so he can restore his life. When you hear that, it scares you to death because these are the kinds of things that are an anomaly but nevertheless are incredibly possible. Anything we've heard about Bronny James, we're thinking about an All-American and somebody that has aspirations of being in the NBA. We've heard the great LeBron James allude to ... his dream is to play in the NBA with his son, etc., etc., and all that gets thrown to the wayside when it comes to something like this."


 He continued: "If you know anything about LeBron James, you can say whatever you want, people can be critical, but nobody debates what a loving, wonderful father he is and how much he loves his children, especially Bronny. We see Bronny everywhere, we see him talking about Bronny all the time, his wonderful wife, Bronny's mother, Savannah, first class all the way, a wonderful human being. They have a great, great family and Bronny has never done anything to besmirch or Sully the James name. By all accounts, he's an absolutely wonderful kid we look at and hope the best for and that was just as a basketball player because of his aspirations and he's LeBron James' son." Thankfully, 18-year-old Bronny, is out of danger and is not in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). 


The youngster, who recently committed to USC's programme and among the top players in his draft class, was completing a workout with the team when he suffered the mishap. No word from the NBA or USC Some six hours have passed since news of Bronny's cardiac arrest reached the press, and there has been no public comment as of yet from either the NBA or the University of South Carolina where the player plays. Perhaps they are awaiting permission from the player's family, but a statement has already been made by LeBron and co. which makes a slight mystery as to why there has been no word from either institution.
